Prof. Dr. Rantimi Jays Julius-Adeoye
Prof. Rantimi Jays Julius-Adeoye is an accomplished academic, lecturer, and international scholar with extensive experience in humanities, business education, and interdisciplinary research. He currently serves as Professor at the International Business School The Hague, where he contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in areas such as leadership, global business environment, international business, and service management.
Prof. Julius-Adeoye holds a PhD in Humanities from Leiden University and has a strong academic foundation in theatre arts and management. His multidisciplinary background enables him to bring a unique perspective to business education, combining insights from cultural studies, leadership, and organizational practice.
Alongside his academic career, he is an experienced entrepreneur and consultant, serving as Chief Executive Officer of Jays Place Hospitality and Leisure and Founding Artistic Director of Real Image Production and Consultancy. These roles reflect his commitment to bridging theory and practice, particularly in creative industries, entrepreneurship, and service management.
Prof. Julius-Adeoye has held numerous academic leadership positions, including Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Chair of the Department of Theatre and Film Studies at Redeemer’s University. He has also served as a visiting fellow and guest professor at leading institutions such as Leiden University and the University of Groningen, contributing to international research and teaching collaborations.
He is an active researcher with a wide range of publications in international journals and edited volumes. His work explores themes such as culture, leadership, media, entrepreneurship, and the socio-political dimensions of business and society, with a particular focus on African contexts and global perspectives.
