Accreditation

Students entering the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes offered by the The Hague  Global Business School will finalize their degree with our partner university UBIS in Washington DC, USA, or with the Euro American Institute (EAI), Malta. This means that the degrees are NOT issued under the Dutch law on Higher Education (Wet op Hoger Onderwijs), but under USA or Maltese accreditation.

The degrees from UBIS based on USA accreditation are recognized in the Netherlands, the EU and worldwide.

On April 13, 2026, HGBS has entered into a new cooperation with the Euro-American Institute in Malta for the awarding of academic degrees. Malta is part of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and participates in the Bologna Process, which promotes the transparency, comparability, and recognition of academic qualifications across participating countries. Degrees awarded by accredited institutions within this framework are generally recognized internationally. Programs covered by the cooperation are: Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA), Master in Business Administration (MBA), and Doctor in Business Administration (DBA).
